My name is Anne and I am vegan...or as one friend calls me.... a vegangelist. In conversations with friends, family, co-workers, tour-goers at a farm sanctuary where I led tours or with absolute strangers, food would always come up and people wanted to know what to eat and where to buy it. After sending out a million different emails, I decided I needed to make a brochure to give people as a resource guide. Once that was created, it needed a place to live...which is how Living the Plant Life began.
The mission of Living the Plant Life is to provide information so that people can make informed decisions about their food choices and how they impact their health, the environment and, most importantly, the lives of the animals with whom we share this earth. Through conversation, compassion and connections, we can impact change!
Living the Plant Life is dedicated to providing print copies of the shopping guide to farm sanctuaries and other non-profits to encourage people to transition to plant-based eating.
As another way of encouraging conversation, Living the Plant Life has been designing T-shirts that will spark interest and get people to ask questions. The profits from the shirts will go to Peacefield Farm Sanctuary in Newberry, FL and to help fund the printing and distribution of the shopping guides.
